THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING
PERSONALIZED TREASURE HUNTS BRING LIFE SKILLS IN THE FORM OF GIFTS TO KIDS
Beverly Hills, CA – January 2, 2008: Cupid is slated to host GIFTVENTURE’S Valentines Day journey. GIFTVENTURE revolutionized children’s gifts by delivering customized adventures-by-mail that accompany parents’ presents while teaching patience, organization, problem solving and promoting imagination. Determined to bring meaning back to giving a gift to a child, GIFTVENTURE is focused on inspiring a child’s curiosity by creating a special experience around a gift that they will remember even if the gift itself is forgotten or outgrown. The experience engages the child by bringing them into a fantastic world with fanciful characters who deliver clues used to solve puzzles that lead them to the gift. When the gift is discovered in it’s predetermined location, it is no longer just a present. It is a well-deserved reward at the end of a very satisfying and educational journey.
HOW IT WORKS:
To create a GIFTVENTURE, the gift giver goes to www.giftventure.com. Simple questions are answered including the child’s name and address, as well as specific questions including the child’s favorite game and a location well known to the child near their house. The answers are incorporated into the letters, making the adventure highly personalized.
The gift giver also enters in a location where the gift will be hidden and is responsible for purchasing a gift, big or small, and hiding it in the designated location. It takes fewer than five minutes to set up a GIFTVENTURE. When a GIFTVENTURE order is placed, the recipient receives a series of three letters via U.S. Postal Service from a mythical character: Gunther the Dragon, Captain Percy the Pirate or Fay the Fairy Princess. The letters arrive over a one-week period and introduce a puzzle that, once solved, leads to the location of a hidden gift. Solving the mystery requires the child to use learning skills and exercise determination.
**GIFTVENTURE retails for $19.95 plus shipping and handling.
